Somerset Gas Transmission Company, LLC

Organized in 1997, Somerset Gas Transmission Company, LLC is a privately held company which owns and operates natural gas gathering systems in Pennsylvania, operates an intrastate natural gas pipeline in Ohio through a subsidiary and is currently pursuing multiple opportunities to expand its pipeline and gathering assets to other parts of the country.

North Coast Gas Transmission, LLC

This subsidiary operates a 135 mile natural gas pipeline originating in Cygnet, Ohio and ending east of Cleveland, Ohio (see Pipeline Maps link). Originally built to transport petroleum products, North Coast began operating the pipeline in September 1998 and converted its use to natural gas. In November 2002, North Coast added 6720 HP of compression to boost the lines capacity and currently provides natural gas transportation service for a diverse group of local distribution companies, end-users, and market aggregators in Northern Ohio.

The North Coast pipeline allows Ohio natural gas users to access gas supply at the Chicago Hub, an aggregation point for virtually every gas producing basin in the U.S. and Western Canada, including the Gulf Coast, Rocky Mountain, Hugoton, Permian, Alberta and when developed: the North Slope Basins. This supply diversity combined with North Coast low cost transportation route, allows Ohio users to access competitively priced gas supply.

In addition to its existing pipeline rights, North Coast's pipeline right of ways as well as other rights it owns, provide multiple pipeline rights which allow it to expand and extend its pipeline in an economic and environmentally sound manner. Using these existing rights of way, North Coast expects to increase the size of its pipeline and extend it beyond the borders of Ohio. North Coast is positioned to meet the needs of and provide these markets with the growing residential and industrial markets in Ohio and the East Coast to access the ample supply of natural gas at the Chicago Hub at a competitive price.
